Choosing a UAE VAT simulator or course
There are several ways to learn UAE VAT, Excise Tax and Corporate Tax filing: watching videos, joining a class, reading the FTA's own guides, or learning accounting software. UAE TaxLab is different in one way that matters to employers: you do the work yourself, for fictional clients, on a realistic simulation of the EmaraTax portal.

The story behind the course
You join Al Noor Tax Consultants, a fictional firm in Dubai, as a junior tax associate. Fatima, your senior manager, puts fourteen client folders on your desk: Meera the freelance designer, Thomas the landlord, an electronics importer, a date exporter, drinks makers, a clinic and a free zone trader. Chapter by chapter you register them, file their returns, pay, and fix the mistakes, until you are ready for the interview.
What you get from it
- Learn by doing: Register, file and pay for real-looking clients instead of only reading about it. Employers want people who have done the work.
- No Emirates ID needed: A demo UAE Pass is created for you, confirmed with a real emailed code, so you can practise from India or anywhere.
- Every number explained: Smart Auto-fill shows where each figure goes and why. Work it out yourself first, then compare.
- Current rules: Sweetened drinks under the 2026 sugar model, the 2026 penalty table and e-invoicing, built from FTA and Ministry of Finance sources.
- Ready for the interview: Model answers built on the course clients, and an honest way to describe the course on your CV and LinkedIn.
- Start free: Chapters 1–4 and the demo UAE Pass are free. The full course is a one-time ₹500.
